Candle Info & Care
Gentle Scents, Made with Care
I never used to like scented candles — most felt too strong, artificial, or even gave me headaches. But when I started making candles myself, I discovered that soft, natural scents can be gentle and enjoyable. This inspired me to create candles that anyone, even those sensitive to smells, can enjoy. All our fragrances are carefully chosen to be subtle, soothing, and never overpowering, so you can experience the warmth and cozy glow of a candle without discomfort.
Our Wax
We use 100% natural, GMO-free soy wax for all our candles. It’s eco-friendly, biodegradable, and sustainably produced, so you can enjoy your candle knowing it’s kind to the planet, and you.
Soy wax burns cleanly and evenly, giving a long-lasting glow and a lovely natural fragrance that fills your space without overpowering it. It’s a thoughtful choice for anyone who loves candles that are both beautiful and sustainable.
Why Soy Wax?
During burning, the wax may change shape or color, or stick slightly to the container sides — this is completely natural and safe. It does not affect the fragrance or burn. Different scents may produce slight variations in color, from pure white to soft yellow or beige.
All our candles are hand-poured with care, so each one is slightly unique - a little reminder that you’re holding something special made by hand.
Fragrance
Each candle is made with premium fragrance oils, specially formulated for candle use. They are paraben-free and comply with IFRA guidelines for safe use and handling. The fragrance is strongest after the first burn and gradually softens toward the end of the candle. Smaller candles naturally have a subtler scent due to the amount of wax and fragrance.
Wicks
We use wicks made from cotton + linen or cotton + paper, which optimize a clean and even burn. If the wick forms a small knot or splits at the top, simply trim it. Always trim the wick before every burn.
Candle Care & Tips
-
First Burn: Let the wax melt fully across the surface of the candle. This “memory” prevents tunneling and ensures even burning. Plan for 2–3 hours for the initial burn.
-
Trimming the Wick: Always trim the wick to 5 mm before each burn. Use a wick trimmer or scissors. This helps the candle burn longer and cleaner.
-
Extinguishing: Use a candle snuffer or gently dip the wick to avoid smoke and soot.
-
Burn Time: Burn your candle for no more than 4 hours at a time.
Safety & Placement
-
Never leave a burning candle unattended.
-
Keep away from drafts, children, and pets.
-
Place on a heat-resistant surface and maintain at least 20 cm distance between burning candles.
-
Avoid placing candles in direct sunlight or very warm spots — soy wax has a low melting point.
Enjoy the glow, fragrance, and cozy moments your candle brings.
Every candle is made with care, just for you.
